VOICES FOR CHANGE PROTEST SONG COMPETITION
Amnesty International (Borders Group)
in collaboration with String Jam Club.

Many thanks to the late Ella Stone whose generous legacy to Amnesty made this inspiring competition possible.

THE WINNERS

'Unheard Voices' - aged 12-14 years old and hailing from Kelso perform their winning song 'Outspoken' at the live final at String Jam Club. Their entry was a brilliant rap about equality, racism, peace & justice, and the judges' decision was unanimous. Just listen to that huge applause at the end. Many congratulations and we hope enjoy your £500 prize!

THE RUNNERS-UP

The three runners-up were Erin Highton (Back Down), duo Corin Anderson and Leanne McFadden (Stand Up, Stand Out), and rock band Highrise (Putin's Deck of Cards). Each act received a prize of £100. The overall standard of the competition was really exceptional as you will see from this compilation of all of the finalists and their songs.

Thanks to Chris Martin for the videos.
